Pelatihan Pembuatan Video Profil Menggunakan Aplikasi Adobe Premiere Pro CC Pada Pemuda Gereja Kristen Protestan Simalungun (GKPS) Sambu Baru Medan
Abstract
Abstrak: Pemuda GKPS Sambu Baru Medan memiliki peran penting dalam pelayanan gereja, namun masih menghadapi keterbatasan keterampilan multimedia khususnya dalam pengolahan video. Masalah utama terletak pada kurangnya pengetahuan teknis editing video menggunakan perangkat lunak profesional, minimnya dokumentasi berkualitas, serta belum optimalnya publikasi digital. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kapasitas softskill dan hardskill pemuda melalui pelatihan pembuatan video profil menggunakan Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan intensif, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, serta evaluasi. Pelatihan diikuti oleh 10 peserta pemuda GKPS Sambu Baru dengan pendekatan praktik langsung. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui penilaian karya video, kuesioner, dan diskusi reflektif. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan peserta dengan capaian softskill sebesar 70% dan hardskill sebesar 80%, serta terbentuknya tim media kreatif internal gereja. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan berbasis proyek efektif meningkatkan kemandirian digital pemuda gereja dan mendukung publikasi kegiatan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract: The youth of GKPS Sambu Baru Medan play a vital role in church services but still face limitations in multimedia skills, particularly in video editing. The main problems include the lack of technical knowledge in using professional editing software, limited high-quality documentation, and suboptimal digital publication. This community service aims to enhance youths’ soft skills and hard skills through training on profile video production using Adobe Premiere Pro CC. The program was carried out through several stages: socialization, intensive training, technology application, mentoring, and evaluation. Ten youth participants joined the training with a hands-on learning approach. Evaluation was conducted through video project assessment, questionnaires, and reflective discussions. The results show an improvement in participants’ skills, with a 70% increase in soft skills and an 80% increase in hard skills, along with the establishment of an internal creative media team. This program demonstrates that project-based training effectively develops youths’ digital independence and supports sustainable church publicity.
