Pengenalan Beras Analog Kepada Masyarakat RT 01 Srengseng Sawah Melalui Penyuluhan Berbasis Video Motion Graphic Dengan Bahasa Persuasif

Abstrak: Permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat adalah tingginya ketergantungan pada nasi putih sebagai sumber karbohidrat utama, padahal konsumsi berlebihan dapat memicu penyakit degeneratif seperti diabetes dan obesitas. Rendahnya literasi pangan sehat membuat masyarakat belum mengenal beras analog sebagai alternatif yang lebih bergizi. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat RT 01 Srengseng Sawah tentang manfaat beras analog berbasis garut dan kacang hijau melalui pendekatan edukatif dan persuasif. Metode yang dilakukan mencakup sosialisasi, penyuluhan menggunakan video motion graphic, serta demonstrasi produk. Kegiatan diikuti ±30 peserta terdiri atas ibu rumah tangga, kader posyandu, dan anggota pengajian setempat. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan gizi sebesar 95%, bertambahnya minat masyarakat untuk mencoba beras analog, serta munculnya ide pengembangan usaha berbasis pangan lokal. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berhasil mendorong literasi pangan sehat sekaligus membuka peluang ekonomi baru.

Abstract: The main problem faced by the community is the high dependence on white rice as the primary source of carbohydrates, while excessive consumption may trigger degenerative diseases such as diabetes and obesity. The low level of food literacy has also prevented the community from recognizing analog rice as a more nutritious alternative. The purpose of this program is to increase the knowledge and awareness of the RT 01 Srengseng Sawah community regarding the benefits of analog rice made from arrowroot and mung beans through an educative and persuasive approach. (The methods applied included socialization, counseling using motion graphic videos, and product demonstrations. The activities involved approximately ±30 participants consisting of housewives, health cadres, and members of local religious study groups. Evaluation was carried out through post-tests to measure the improvement in understanding. (The results showed a 95% increase in nutritional knowledge, greater community interest in trying analog rice, and the emergence of ideas for developing local food-based businesses. Thus, this program successfully promoted healthy food literacy while also opening new economic opportunities.
