Abstract

Abstrak: Permasalahan utama mitra, yaitu Office Boy (OB) di Polimedia melalui PT Camelia Inti Persada, adalah keterampilan yang belum standar dalam pelayanan makanan dan minuman serta general cleaning. Variasi kualitas layanan dan kurangnya pemahaman etika pelayanan berpotensi menurunkan citra kampus. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan OB melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan praktis. Metode meliputi sosialisasi, workshop interaktif, demonstrasi, simulasi praktik, serta evaluasi dengan pre-test, post-test, observasi, dan kuesioner. Sebanyak 15 OB mengikuti pelatihan yang difokuskan pada Food and Beverage Service (etika pelayanan, tata saji, keamanan pangan) dan General Cleaning (teknik pembersihan ruang, toilet, kaca, penggunaan peralatan, serta sistem kerja berbasis zona). Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan: 85% peserta memahami materi, dan 90% mampu mempraktikkan keterampilan sesuai standar. Keberlanjutan didukung dengan e-modul dan video tutorial berbasis QR Code. Program ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan softskill, hardskill, serta citra kampus melalui layanan yang lebih profesional.

Abstract:  The main issue faced by the partner, namely Office Boys (OB) at Polimedia employed through PT Camelia Inti Persada, is the lack of standardized skills in food and beverage service and general cleaning. Variations in service quality and limited understanding of service ethics potentially reduce the institution’s image. This community service program aimed to enhance OB skills through practical training and mentoring. The methods included socialization, interactive workshops, demonstrations, simulations, and evaluations using pre-tests, post-tests, observations, and questionnaires. Fifteen OBs participated in training focused on Food and Beverage Service (service ethics, table setting, food safety) and General Cleaning (room, toilet, glass cleaning techniques, appropriate use of tools and cleaning agents, and zone-based work systems). The results showed significant improvement: 85% of participants demonstrated increased understanding, and 90% were able to perform the skills according to standards. Sustainability was supported through e-modules and tutorial videos accessible via QR codes. This program improved both soft and hard skills, while also strengthening the campus image through more professional services.
