Peningkatan Kapasitas Yayasan Kogana Sumut: Pelatihan Produksi Konten Media Sosial untuk Pengurus dan Relawan

Abstract

Abstrak: Yayasan KOGANA SUMUT belum optimal dalam mensosialisasikan program pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dilakukan melalui akun resmi yayasan pada media sosial seperti Instagram dan Facebook;  Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kapasitas  pengurus dan relawan Yayasan KOGANA SUMUT melalui pelatihan memproduksi konten digital untuk media sosial guna mendukung promosi program pemberdayaan masyarakat yayasan.  Metode pelatihan dilakukan dengan pendekatan partisipasi aktif peserta dengan metode ceramah interaktif, lokakarya praktik, dan diskusi kelompok, melibatkan 10 peserta yang terdiri dari pengurus dan relawan Yayasan KOGANA SUMUT di Medan pada 18 September 2025. Materi mencakup dasar-dasar konten digital, teknik fotografi dan videografi, editing menggunakan aplikasi gratis seperti Canva dan CapCut, serta strategi distribusi di media sosial khususnya Instagram. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 75% berdasarkan pre-test dan post-test, dengan 80% peserta mampu menghasilkan konten sederhana secara mandiri. Dampaknya termasuk peningkatan visibilitas kegiatan Yayasan KOGANA SUMUT di platform digital, yang mendukung keberlanjutan pengabdian masyarakat. Program ini direkomendasi-kan untuk dikembangkan dengan pendampingan dan monitoring berkelanjutan.

Abstract: The KOGANA SUMUT Foundation has not yet optimally socialized its community empowerment programs through its official accounts on social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. The purpose of this community service activity is to enhance the capacity of the foundation's administrators and volunteers through training in producing digital content for social media, aimed at supporting the promotion of the foundation's community empowerment programs. The training method employed an active participant approach, utilizing interactive lectures, practical workshops, and group discussions, involving 10 participants consisting of administrators and volunteers from the KOGANA SUMUT Foundation in Medan on September 18, 2025. The materials covered included the basics of digital content, photography and videography techniques, editing using free applications such as Canva and CapCut, as well as distribution strategies on social media, particularly Instagram. The results showed a 75% increase in participants' knowledge based on pre-test and post-test assessments, with 80% of participants able to independently produce simple content. The impacts include improved visibility of the KOGANA SUMUT Foundation's activities on digital platforms, which supports the sustainability of community service efforts. This program is recommended for further development with ongoing mentoring and monitoring.
