PEMBUATAN MURAL PHOTOSPOT DENGAN TEMA RAGAM HIAS MOTIF BETAWI PADA UPK PBB SETU BABAKAN JAKARTA SELATAN

Abstract

Abstrak: Kawasan Pelestarian Budaya Betawi Setu Babakan Srengseng Sawah merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata yang cukup populer di Jakarta. Namun, masih terdapat kekurangan dalam memanfaatkan potensi wisata tersebut, terutama dalam hal pemasaran dan promosi. Oleh karena itu, program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keinginan sharing dan dengan photo di kawasan wisata Setu Babakan. Pada Pengabdian kali ini, penulis mendesain photospot dengan desain ragam hias yang menjadi ciri khas kawasan pelestarian Budaya Betawi dalam bentuk mural ragam hias Betawi, yang sebelumnya tim penulis juga mengembangkan Motif Betawi pada produk-produk pilihannya . Berdasarkan hasil observasi langsung pada lapangan, hanya satu ditemukan icon gambar ondel-ondel laki-laki dan perempuan, dan tempatnya ada di gerbang belakang Setu Babakan, yang merupakan hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat oleh Program Studi Desain Grafis Politeknik Negeri Jakarta. Jika ditelusuri, setu babakan memiliki banyak spot-spot tempat yang dapat dijadikan tempat ber-foto (photospot), namun belum dimanfaatkan dengan optimal. Pilihan pengunjung dalam berfoto yaitu danau dan bangunan betawi yang sudah dibangun. Berdasarkan dengan latar belakang tersebut maka penulis memberikan solusi alternatif  pembuatan photoshot dengan mengangkat tema ciri khas ragam hias budaya Betawi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode R&D yang dimana sebelumnya penulis telah melakukan riset, wawancara dan observasi lapangan, serta kebutuhan yang tepat pada lingkungan kawasan budaya Setu Babakan. Dari hasil karya yang sudah dibuat penulis melakukan test berupa form pertanyaan yang hasilnya yaitu para masyarakat pengunjung setubabakan puas dengan hasil dibuat mendapatkan spot baru yang mencirikan Budaya Betawi yaitu photospot di UPK Setu Babakan, serta pengunjung bersedia menshare hasil spot baru pada social media, sebagai upaya pelestarian Budaya Betawi dalam bentuk Mural.

Abstract:  The Setu Babakan Srengseng Sawah Betawi Cultural Preservation Area is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Jakarta. However, there are still shortcomings in exploiting this tourism potential, especially in terms of marketing and promotion. Therefore, this community service program aims to increase the desire to share and take photos in the Setu Babakan tourist area. In this dedication, the author designed a photospot with decorative designs that are characteristic of the Betawi Culture preservation area in the form of Betawi decorative murals, previously the writing team also developed Betawi Motifs on their selected products. Based on the results of direct observations in the field, only one icon of a male and female ondel-ondel was found, and the place was at the back gate of Setu Babakan, which was the result of community service by the Jakarta State Polytechnic Graphic Design Study Program. If you look closely, Setu Babangan has many spots that can be used as photospots, but they have not been utilized optimally. Visitors' choices for taking photos are the Betawi lake and buildings that have been built. Based on this background, the author provides an alternative solution for making photoshots by highlighting the characteristic decorative characteristics of Betawi culture. The method used in this service is the R&D method, where the author has previously carried out research, interviews and field observations, as well as the exact needs of the Setu Babakan cultural area environment. From the results of the work that has been made, the author carried out a test in the form of a question form, the results of which were that the visiting community was satisfied with the results of getting a new spot that characterized Betawi culture, namely the photospot at UPK Setu Babakan, and visitors were willing to share the results of the new spot on social media, as an effort preserving Betawi Culture in the form of Murals.
